Our New Deck

Finally, my computer helper is here and has posted picutres of my new deck. Of course, we have only had a few nice days to sit out there. If you remember, the wind blows here all the time; even on hot days it is still cool. I know the little roof has to be painted and made to look better. I am waiting for my wandering grandchildren to come home. Hopefully, I will be able to talk them into scraping & painting for me. As I have said, before, I have never seen Chuck in such a hurry to get anything done. I am glad! Now, he thinks that it should have been a little bit bigger. ( I am not sure if I want to do any more this year.) The next project is putting a new sidewalk in; he has started working on that. We have lived here for 34 years and the front of our house has never looked this good. You notice that the deck chairs are covered up. The reason for that being that the birdies like to leave their marks and I don't like to sit on it. So, we have to remember to cover them up when we come in for the evening. If you all would like to come and visit you would be most welcome. The next thing I would like done is to put shutters on the house & hopefully it will add some color.
