Shopping Anyone?

Well, my "little charges" left me and I was at a loss as what to do. I thought you all might like to know what a senior citizen does for fun. (you have this to look forward to!) On Tuesday, I needed gas for the car so off to Sherrill I went and met Chuck so he could fill the tank & pay! I stopped at P & C for a few things and then headed home. We needed bread & it cost me $29.92 Try not to shop at P & C prices are extremely high. Then on Wednesday, it was such a nice day and I need a few things so I was up, showered & out of the house a little after 6:30 a.m.. I was walking into Wal-Mart and 7:02 a.m. So nice to shop at that time of the day. Naturally, I had a riding buggy and so I could shop goooood! I spent over an hour there & found a number of things that I needed & I left $123.91 there. Of course, the next stop had to be at Dunkin' Donuts, for tea and I also had a new photo gift card that I wanted to use. Thank you so much Caleb & Kalei!!! I love it. I was back home before Chuck got back home from school. When he got home, he wanted to know if I wanted to go get groceries & of course, I said "yes," as I didn't get only a few at Wal-Mart. So, off we went to Price Chopper. After leaving $72.00 there and being able to save $.50 on our next tank of gas we were rather pleased. Needless, to say it was almost lunch time so we stopped in Kirkland at Bonomo's. I wanted a roast beef sandwich & he had a cheeseburger & of course, he had ice cream. I was full so I decided not to have any at that time. On Thursday, I headed to Wendi's to spend time with her & her little ones. After taking Luc to get "an adjustment" we wondered what we were going to do. We knew we were going to spend the day together and wanted to do something fun.. We went to Binghamton, to Arrowhead Book store. On the way we stopped in Cortland for lunch at McDonald's & then on into the city. What fun, so many books. Lyss said that she could spend the whole day there! Of course, she would be broke if she bought all of the books that she liked. After leaving the bookstore, we needed a drink so we headed to Friendly's. We went there a number of years ago when Phil was dating. Was that a chocolate fribble you wanted????? Well, Wendi can't go there without having a hot dog & fries! Ofcouse, we also had ice cream. Boy, was it ever good. When we left the parking lot we noticed a Dunkin Dounut, and I just had to have ice tea. It was a fun day! Thanks so much Wendi, Lyss & Luc for taking me with you!
