Grandma Update

Hi to you all,
When I walked in Grandma's room last night she was sitting in a chair. I was rather shocked. She was ,of course, all bundled and wrapped in blankets. And she was sleeping.
I asked how long she had been sitting there and she said she didn't know. She wanted to go to bed. The nurses said that they would put her into bed but in 2 hours they were going to get her up again. I think I would have said, "put me back to bed." She was tired and of course, it hurts to move and she has a difficult time picking up her left leg.
She ate some supper and then she wanted to go back to bed. The Dr. came in and said that they were going to take the O2 off her. Her skin is very yellow and her red blood count is low so he was ordering a blood transfusion. She wasn't too happy about that.
I have to take her hearing aids to her. I think she was tired of everyone yelling at her. She is doing as well as can be expected for her age.
