To Go or Not to Go

Well, my worst fears came true! Grandma went with us to the trailer. You should have seen her! She looked like a " little old bag lady." She did wear her slacks. (She didn't even put up a fuss) Then she had on, of course, her skirt & shirt, her bandanna around her neck with her sweater buttoned 3 buttons and then her coat, gloves and another bandanna around her head. You should have seen her....she really looked quite funny.
When we got to the trailer she said that she would sit in the truck while the trailer heated up. She sat out there for about 15 minutes and then had to come in because it was way too hot in the truck. Chuck forgot to turn the heat down a little.
Once she was inside the trailer, of course it was still cold in there, she complained that she should have stayed home. WOW! Why didn't I think of that????
I don't think that 20 minutes had gone by and she wanted to know if we were about done and ready to go home. Was she kidding? No way, there was way too much "stuff" to sort through and pack up.
I am not sure where Rosalee and Theresa are going to put all of their "stuff" but at least it has left the trailer and for that I am most happy :) :)
Of course, we had to have lunch. Chuck went up to Stewart's to get some sandwiches, chips and soda. As we sat at the card table eating it was rather strange to think that it was the last meal to be eaten at Grandma's house. Rather sad, in some ways when I think of all of the good meals that had been eaten at Grandma's house.
If any of you out there would like something of Grandma's let me know and I will see if it is still around. Believe me, I have way too much "stuff" here in my already cluttered house.
Maybe someone should come and sort through my "stuff" ???? Oh how dread for that day to come. I hope I am somewhere else or not in my right mind. I have a ton of baby stuff that is good and I will hate to see it gone.
I have a nice Christmas present for some of you out there! A couple of days to have your Grandmother come for a visit. It would be a nice experience for you and your children. Something that they will remember for a very long time. I will pay travel expenses both ways and give some spending money also. Let me know who would like to be the first one to enjoy this holiday season.
Have a good day and take time to enjoy this wonderful month of December!
